Slough’s centre teaches on Saturdays — and for everything the rest of the week won’t accommodate, there is the online programme Boost launched in 2023. Online tutoring in Slough means one-to-one sessions: one tutor preparing for one student, following the same syllabus their school teaches, on a screen instead of across a table. For some children it is the overflow option; for plenty, it is simply the better fit.
Each session works on what your child is actually studying — Seamless Sync is Boost’s name for it: tuition that tracks the school curriculum rather than running its own race. Homework bridges the sessions, feedback from our Slough tutors reaches parents weekly, and because the format is one-to-one, a difficult fortnight at school can simply become the next session’s agenda. Nothing waits for the rest of a class.
Online sessions run Monday to Friday from 4pm to 8pm, and from 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays — a wider window than any physical centre keeps. Subjects span the core of what Boost teaches, from primary groundwork through GCSE, with A-Level available too. The sensible first step is the free trial class — a complete session, unpaid, which settles quickly whether the format suits your child.
