Boost Education was founded in 2009 by Amandeep Gill, a qualified secondary school Maths teacher with over 20 years’ classroom experience and a Mathematics degree from Queen Mary, University of London — and Ilford is where it began. We understand that preparing for exams, 11+ or for GCSEs can be a challenging time for both students and their parents. Every child starts with a free assessment, which the team uses to place them in the right ability set. From there the routine is simple: weekly sessions at the centre, homework to consolidate between visits, and mock exams sat under real test conditions. Parents hear from our expert Maths tutors every week, so a wobble in algebra or fractions is dealt with in days rather than discovered at parents’ evening.

The Ilford centre has the fullest timetable of any Boost centre: Monday to Friday 4–8pm for after-school sessions, Saturdays 10am–6pm, and Sundays 10am–3pm. That range matters for Maths in particular — little and often beats a single weekly cram. The centre is easy to reach by public transport and car. It is close to local bus routes and within easy access of Ilford Station, making it convenient for students travelling after school. Detailed directions are provided upon enrolment.
Yes. All of our tutors are high achieving subject specialists with strong personalities. Each tutor has undergone thorough training to be able to deliver the Boost Education Charged Up Curriculum™ and has been hand-picked by our senior UK teaching team.
You can contact us to arrange an assessment and consultation at our Ilford tuition centre. This allows us to understand your child’s current level, identify any learning gaps, and recommend the most suitable class and support plan.
Each session is 1 hour per subject. Students may attend multiple sessions per week depending on their learning needs.
Yes we provide homework every week which is then marked by our tutors upon completion and ready for the next session. We provide homework from our own Boost Education workbooks which compliment the New National Curriculum.

We provide all of our students our own in-house created workbooks which they are taught from and set homework on in class every week. All of our teaching material has been tested in Primary & Secondary schools across the country. We believe in hands-on teaching, organisation and clear explanation methods.
